About TRF

TRL (Transport Research Laboratory) and TTR (Transport and Travel Research Ltd) have worked together for a number of years and across a number of business areas. In 2010, a partnership was created between the two companies whereby TRL would acquire a majority sharing in TTR over a period of four years and in parallel, TTR would introduce an Employee Share Ownership Plan for its staff. This process is now well underway.

By working together, we firmly believe we are able to offer our customers a wide range of services to better meet their needs and to provide added value. Our joint expertise covers sustainable transport, low carbon vehicles, freight, ITS and travel behaviour for both the UK and international markets.
