TRF - Transport Research Foundation

The Transport Research Foundation (TRF) was created in 1996 to acquire the UK's national Transport Research Laboratory, TRL. TRF, a non-profit distributing company, uses the income from its investment in TRL to fund a programme of innovative research in the physical science aspects of transport and related disciplines, so as to complement the extensive customer-commissioned programmes of research conducted by TRL.
